Awww, you tried so hard, but unfortunately I can’t hear you over the sound of my debt-free college degree and massive disposable income.
Oh Tumblr, source of much happiness and inspiration, you may be my favorite place on the internet when my spirits need boosting. Truly. <3
This July, I might need your help. I’m running a nonprofit fundraising campaign to begin the creation of my circus’ upcoming production’s music and costumes.

I think we can do it, but it will take a lot of folks spreading the word, and pitching what they can into our proverbial hat. If we make it, it will mean a lot of beautiful things get created (lasting things, tangible things and things you can dance to) and I get to pay the inspiring artists who create them. A precious opportunity in today’s creative job market.
It’s not online yet, but I guess what I’m saying is, when it launches, please help our first push be strong. People are so much more likely to contribute to these types of fundraisers once they’ve passed their 50% mark, so the first half will be the hardest to get, and I think Tumblr is full of the type of people who can and will make that leap of faith with us.
Hugs and kisses ‘n head-scritches,
